“Cat Rose” fast ferry from La Digue to Praslin
La Digue and Praslin are connected by the comfortable high-speed ferry “Cat Rose” which makes this scenic trip 5-6 times per day.
Departure point is at La Passe jetty on La Digue.
Arrival on Praslin is at Baie St. Anne pier, which is in the eastern part of Praslin Island. It is also where the ferries to Mahé depart from.
If you want to catch the ferry to Mahé: it’s only a few meters distance between the boats.
The Cat Rose ferry trip from La Digue to Praslin takes about 15-20 minutes. As it’s a relatively short distance between these beautiful Seychelles islands, many people stay on either Praslin or on La Digue, making day trips to visit and enjoy.

There are no booking classes on Cat Rose ferry. All seats cost the same, you choose whether you want to sit inside or on the upper deck.
Main cabin: Air conditioned and with TV entertainment.
Upper deck: In the fresh air, but with rain and wind covers for those occasional wet days.
There is no Business class on Cat Rose ferry.
Theoretical luggage allowance: 30 kgs plus hand luggage.
Having said that, we have never seen the luggage being weighed at Praslin jetty.
You have to take a taxi (or bicycle or oxcart) from your hotel to the jetty at La Passe where the ferry to Praslin leaves from.
