“Cat Cocos” high-speed ferry from Mahé to Praslin
Mahé and Praslin are connected by the comfortable Cat Cocos high-speed ferries “Isle of Mahé” and “Isle of Praslin”, usually running 2-3 times a day.
Departure point is the Inter Island Terminal on Mahé, within walking distance from the capital Victoria.
The trip between Mahé and Praslin takes a little less than an hour.
Arrival on Praslin is at the Baie St. Anne pier, which is in the eastern part of Praslin Island. It is also where the ferries to La Digue depart from.
Taking the Cat Cocos ferry from Mahé to Praslin is a great way to enjoy spectacular views of the islands. You may see flying fish and even dolphins if you’re lucky.
